My wife and I will soon be celebrating our 7 year wedding anniversary.
She deserves a VERY special gift for putting up with me for this long! 🙂
In all seriousness though, she is an amazing person and I am incredibly lucky to have her in my life. And the time has FLOWN by … it seems like just yesterday that we were in Hawaii for our honeymoon …
We had such an awesome trip … spent lots of time at the beach, went hiking, kayaking, zip lining and snorkeling … ate at some GREAT restaurants … memories that will last a lifetime!
I also remember very clearly that being right around the time I had started my first blog. One of the mornings while we were there, we had just finished breakfast and my wife was checking her emails, and I decided to write a quick blog post.
It was just a zero equipment, bodyweight-only workout that I had done while we were on our vacation, and I thought it would be something that would be useful for others, so decided to put it up on the web for people to check out.
I shared it on social media, and I got I think maybe a dozen people or so people to “like” it … and I was shocked! 🙂
And at that moment, I thought – “Boy – it would be SO cool if I could actually make money doing this! I wonder if that would be possible?”
So I fumbled around and blogged here and there for the next FOUR YEARS, trying to make a little “side hustle” out of my blog.
I bought a bunch of little training courses on every topic you could think of – how to get traffic, how to write sales copy, how to create your own products …
I even put together a couple of ebooks and video-based training courses, and sold a few copies of those …
But truly, I really didn’t know what I was doing, and I didn’t make a lot of progress. I would make a little money here and there, but not much considering the time I was putting into it. I was ready to give up completely a couple of time.
But having an online business was something I REALLY wanted to do … so, about three years ago, in 2012, I finally decided to join a coaching program. I had thought about it MANY times, but the investment just seemed big, and I never could quite pull the trigger.
But I decided to just DO it … and that was the turning point for me. I got some serious accountability, and it lit a fire under my a@@ and made me do the things I knew I NEEDED to do, but was procrastinating on.
I also got introduced to some key people in the fitness info space, and went to my first live event, where I met a lot of folks that I am still friends with and work with regularly to this day.
So in the last three years, I went from making no signficiant consistent money to speak of, to making a very nice, what most people would consider “full time”, income from my online business … working very part time hours (usually about two or three per day).
If I wanted to, I could move the family to Hawaii, and work a couple of hours each morning from my laptop, and take the rest of the day to hang out, work out, and enjoy life!
So … if YOU are interesting in building your OWN fitness blog for fun and profit … and you want to take the fast track, and not spend years fumbling around trying to figure things out like I did, I have the perfect program for you …
It’s called the “Business of Kettlebell Training” training course …
And it starts next Tuesday, October 13th!
This is a group – based program where we will meet each week on a call, and go over the basics of the business of kettlebell training.
Each week we are going to cover a diferent topic, such as:
– How to make a full-time income with kettlebell training, working part time hours
– The easiest ways to get new kettlebell / personal training / boot camp clients, fast
– How to start your online kettlebell / fitness business on the side
– How to get your 1st 1000 email subscribers
Etc.
At the end of each call, I will open up the line and take questions from everyone and help with challenges that each participant is having in their particular businesses etc.
You will also have email access to me throughout the six weeks to make sure you get all the help you need, and that all your questions are answered.
I’m also going to include 6 of my training courses / special reports, free when you sign up:
– “21 Fitness Business Mistakes and How to Avoid Them” (training course)
– “23 Tips for a Rockin’ Fitness Business” (audio presentation)
– “The Fitness Business Funnel that Sells Like Crazy” (training course)
– “Fitness Blogging for Fun and Profit” (special report)
– “19 Ways to Get New Personal Training / Boot Camp Clients” (special report)
– “Six Figure PT Biz in 90 Days – a Simple Plan” (special report)
And, participants will get access to full recordings of all the calls for future reference etc.
Since it would be a group – based program, the cost is much more affordable than my one-on-one Elite Coaching.
Here’s the only catch: 10 people is the MAX number I can accept into this program. Once 10 sign up, that’s it. So if you want in, click the link below to submit your application, and we’ll see if we can get you in:
